My gosh, here I am again after a bit of an absence, I think i've been so pre-occupied lately with all that Facebook schmoozing that I forgot about this page(s). Yet I'm not a multi-tasker - I focus on 1 thing at a time - just like how you have to create a work of art - hard to paint with those proverbial "flies of distraction" buzzin' around my head. Of course all the practicalities & hassles that life normally presents - creating a good work of art is always a challenge - yet it still gets done. I'm happy with that - that's just the way it is. There is no formula, nor is a schedule or itinerary present.

The February Wheels

Been awhile since my last entry, back now after months of, well, stuff. I had a show last November at Gallery 63 Eleven, here in Seattle. In getting ready for a show I'm a bit of a monomaniac, not doing much in the way of web or other digital projects, well, here's an image from my Nov. show - entitled- "The Night Exchange" Acrylic on Canvas, 30" x 40".

A Picture I Suppose

Well, getting things started up, being that I'm an artist - as good as time as any to put up this image: It's titled "Equator" Oil on canvas, 30" x 36" I think, I painted this around 1994, so it's an older one, but I always liked it for its cartoony & yet scary aspects, - I don't think this painting means I'm the re-incarnation of Goya (although I'd like to be), it does mean I'm open to new vistas....and I'm not sure if I mean to please - that's art. We share our dreams, we can also share our nightmares! Cheers!

Welcome!

Welcome folks! I finally decided to get into this blog biz, hopefully inspired to post more frequent diatribes, art critiques, music thoughts, etc. (than on my home website). Also hope to post images of recent artwork (&maybe not so recent) for feedback, ideas, and of course shameless self-promotion!
Again, written topics will be all over the place, but still gravitationally inclined towards art & music. Let's have some fun!
